your special day? Roger’s unique photographic coverage ensures you
are left with a personal, permanent reminder of your wedding day.
With a wealth of experience gleaned from photographing weddings over the
past 30 years, Roger is able to blend the contemporary fun and informal
images with traditional wedding portraits, producing albums to treasure
forever as a reminder of your special day.
Roger will meet you before your big day to discuss your ideas and
requirements. We can offer you a range of photographic styles to record
these moments including:- formal groups, bride and groom informal/
fun shots, reportage style, still life shots of the cake, hats, flowers etc,
architectural features of your venue and chosen landscape both in colour and
monochrome.

Our aim is to make your choice of wedding photography as individually
tailored as possible. You can chose from our photographic and digital
products detailed below to accompany your choice of traditional or designer
wedding album.
Every wedding package we have designed includes an initial meeting
with Roger to discuss your ideas,
colour schemes, venue, family setup and other particular shots that you would
like captured on your special day.
Regardless of which wedding package you chose, on the day from the arrival
of the groom and his groomsmen and events up to and including the
couple’s first dance, Roger aims to
creatively capture moments otherwise unseen. If desired, we can capture
those moments before the ceremony including the preparation of the bride. As
well as the traditional group photographs that are still such an important
part of recording your family, friends and other guests, we offer reportage, still life and informal images.
Roger Thornton Photography offers you the following wedding packages:
Velmore:
The Velmore package gives you an album with the more traditional look of one photograph on each page of the same size throughout. The photographs you select for your album can be as contemporary in style as you wish.
There are two sizes available in the Velmore range 8" x 6" or 10' x 8". The smaller album offers 30 pages each containing an 8" x 6" photograph. The larger album contains 20 pages each mounted with a 10" x 8" photograph.
This service is ideally suited for smaller weddings where there are few guests.
After your wedding you will be invited to our studio to view your photographs and make the selection for your album. You will be given an inkjet proof album to take away. A 60 day password proofing web gallery of all the images will be available giving instant access to the photographs of your special day to enable additional prints to be ordered by your family and friends.

Merdon:
The Merdon package gives you the opportunity to have your wedding photographs presented in a designer album with a choice of either gold, silver or black edged leaves. You can select up to 60 images to be mounted into your 40 page Merdon album. Pages will contain either an 8" x 6" single photograph, multiple images on one print or smaller photographs set in overlays.
Your album will be a unique record of your day and capture the magical moments of the occassion.
Your guests are invited to leave their best wishes on album pages at the reception. These are placed at the begining of the album after a personalized title page.
After your wedding you will be invited to our studio to view your photographs and discuss the design of your album. You will be given an inkjet proof album to take away. A 60 day password proofing web gallery of all the images will be available giving instant access to the photographs of your special day to enable additional prints to be ordered by your family and friends.

Oakwood:
The Oakwood package, which is our most popular, gives you the opportunity to have your wedding photographs presented in a designer album with a choice of either gold, silver or black edged leaves. You can select up to 80 images to be mounted into your 40 page Oakwood album. Pages will contain either a 10" x 8" single photograph, multiple images on one print or smaller photographs set in overlays. The Oakwood albums size gives greater freedom for design using larger images and creates greater visual impact for your photographs. This is ideal for medium to large weddings.
Your album will be a unique record of your day and capture the magical moments of the occassion.

Hocombe:
The Hocombe package gives you the opportunity to have your wedding photographs presented in a designer postbound album with black or silver edged leaves. You can select up to 150 images to be mounted into your 50 page Hocombe album. Pages will contain either a 12" x 10" single photograph, multiple images on one print or smaller photographs set in overlays. The Hocombe albums size gives greater freedom for design using larger images and increased visual impact for your photographs. This package eliminates the heartache of having to decide which captured moment to leave out of your stunning album.
This is ideal for large weddings with extensive family/guest groups.
Your album will be a unique record of your day and capture the magical moments of the occassion.
Your guests are invited to leave their best wishes on album pages at the reception. These are placed at the begining of the album after a personalized title page.

Booking
At the time of booking we do ask for a non-refundable booking fee of £150.00 to secure your wedding date (This fee is included in the package prices above). Please book early to avoid disappointment.
The balance is due one calander month prior to your wedding day. Arrangements can be made to pay in installments. We accept all major credit and debit cards, cheques are made payable to Roger Thornton.
Roger
Thornton Photography offers gift vouchers, which can be purchased by family,

Your photographs are printed by a professional laboratory, using traditional and trusted processing methods and our frames are assembled by hand.
